Walking is an effective exercise

Sheldon Kalnitsky was gaining too much weight but by walking he was able to reduce weight. Many people trying to lose weight often perform an exercise they believe burns more calories and wonder why after a few weeks they hardly see any results. Permanent fat loss will take time, even though calories do count its not just about burning as many calories as possible, especially during the beginning stages of weight loss.

Walking is one of the best exercises if you want to start losing permanent weight. Even though a walk won’t burn a lot of calories just look at the positive benefits of walking: Increases health and fitness, Boosts energy levels, Decrease in health risks and higher percentage of body fat burned. Other benefits include helps to burn fat, toning the body, overcome sleepless nights, and overcome depression. Walking on hills is good. The uphill provides cardiovascular benefits and the downhill is known for reducing the blood sugar levels. Walking on hills may not be possible for all of us due to the location constraints.

Sheldon Kalnitsky was able to realize that walking has many benefits. It can reduce the risk of many diseases like heart attack, stroke, depression, colon cancer, constipation, osteoporosis and impotent etc. It helps cure sleeplessness.

Sheldon Kalnitsky found brisk walking very effective. Scientifically, it correlates with the pulse rate that you should achieve for the maximum benefit. If you do brisk waling for 45 minutes to 1 hour it would be good.
